The ‘itelligence Istanbul Head Office’ project, located in NidaKule Ataşehir, is not a typical office floor in terms of physical conditions, but has been designed to keep employee satisfaction at a high level with indoor-outdoor relations, independent entrance uses and master plan design.
In the project, which is spread over three floors, a stair gallery connecting the floors has been proposed in order to increase intra-office communication. The staircase is not only intended as a vertical circulation element, it is designed as a meeting, training and socialization area for employees with amphitheaters and seating areas created around it. However, the writable wall and glass surfaces in the office support this area as surfaces where information can be transferred and trainings can be organized.
Together with the main circulation backbone constructed on the axis of the staircase and the main entrance hall, functions such as flexible work areas, recreation, individual study, short interviews and cafeteria have been solved. In this way, both the large office space has been scaled up by fragmentation and the feeling of density has been reduced. The main backbone, in the continuation, establishing a relationship with the external terrace, the use of external space has been encouraged.
